WhatsApp
All we need to do is to re-install the app as well as it will certainly ask us if we want to restore the back-up, and also if we do, we will have once again the erased discussions. The backup contains the discussions from the last few days. Luckily (or unfortunately, relying on our scenario) the back-ups can be conserved in 2 locations: on the Google account or in local files.
To delete permanently the WhatsApp discussions from the Google Drive account we need to follow these actions:
- Erasing the discussions from the application. It's pointless to erase the back-ups if the discussions aren't deleted. WhatsApp will create once more a back-up to the discussion checklist.
- Removing the backups from the phone. To do this, we have to acces our phone's Documents Management (internal memory) and we look for the WhatsApp folder. Right here we will certainly have a subfolder named Backups. All the products from this folder must be deleted. Keep in mind, when you will certainly do this, you can say goodbye to the discussions.
- Removing the discussions from the Google account. For this, we must access Google Drive from a computer system (drive.google.com). Right here we will certainly have our storage from where we will remove all the backups (the back-ups will be below only if we approved this when setting up the application).
To disable the automated back-up choice we need to go to Settings icon → Settings → Chats → Chat backup → Back up to Google Drive → Never
If you adhered to properly the steps above, after that you must have deleted the WhatsApp conversations forever. Keep in mind, you will not be able to recuperate the conversations after adhering to these actions.
